Last updated: June 2026
This privacy policy explains what personal data is collected through this website, how it is used, and what rights you have over it. The data controller is Livio Marrese, owner of Ca' Remurin, reachable through the contact form on this website.
What data we collect
When you use the contact form on this site, we collect the information you choose to provide: first name, last name, email address, preferred check-in and check-out dates, and any message you write. The email field is required; all other fields are optional.
How we use your data
We use this information only to respond to your enquiry, discuss availability, and arrange your stay at Ca' Remurin. We do not use your data for marketing, and we do not sell or rent it to third parties.
Legal basis for processing
We process your data based on your consent, given when you check the consent box and submit the contact form, and, where a booking proceeds, to take steps in view of entering into a contract with you.
Who has access to your data
The contact form is handled by a PHP mail script running on Aruba Linux hosting, which transmits your message directly to our private inbox. Your data is not stored on external form platforms. We do not share your data with any other third party.
How long we keep your data
We retain enquiry data for as long as needed to handle your request and, if you book a stay, for the period required by applicable Italian tax and accounting regulations. You can ask us to delete your data sooner, as described below.
Your rights
Under the GDPR, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Ask us to correct inaccurate data
- Ask us to delete your data
- Restrict or object to how we process your data
- Request a copy of your data in a portable format
- Lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority
To exercise any of these rights, contact us through the contact form on this website.
